Updates.

Tonight Real Madrid will face Villarreal at the El Madrigal.

Prior to this, Real have secured the signings of both Arjen Robben and Gabriel Heinze from Chelsea and Manchester United respectively. Now Real can literally win titles with their second team.

Good luck, Arjen.

Good luck, Gabriel.

The matchday 1 derby in the El Santiago Bernabeu ended with the champions winning 2-1. Goals from captian Raul and new boy Wesley Sneijder was enough to overcome the early goal conceded to Atletico Madrid.

Meanwhile, Barcelona drew 0-0 to Racing Santander away.

Suckers.

Hala Madrid.

Merdeka.

If there is ever a day to celebrate, this should be it.

31 August.

50 years ago on this day, Malaysia celebrated its independance. Tunku Abdul Rahman and co. managed to chase away the British from our beloved land. Finally, we had a country to could call ours. We had a home.

As much as we dislike what is going on now, with corruptions governing the country, we must be well aware that Malaysia gave us something not many kids have. It gave us a future. We can be who we want to, as long as we try hard enough.

Both my grandfathers came down from China because they knew, Malaysia was a land of opportunity. And they were right. Stop thinking about who you COULD be if you were not born in Malaysia. Start thinking about who you WOULD be, and you will count your blessings.

I will probably be a farmer, lucky to own two cows by now.

Fellow friends, don't just sit home today. Go out and sing your hearts out. Be grateful for Malaysia, be patriotic.

Malaysia, Selamat Hari Merdeka!

Beautiful?

Beautiful.

3 - 5

I am going to be dead honest,

We lost.

The Santiago Bernabeu faltered to a Freddie Kanoute hattrick and two goals from Renato. The highlight of the game however, was Roysten Drenthe's cracker from outside the penalty box. The new kid on the block is starting to prove his worth.

Three cups remaining.

Fellow Madrid fans, be optimistic.

The Fifth.

Wesley Sneijder.

Real Madrid has just completed their fifth signing of the season. This time its Ajax's main man, Wesley Sneijder. The Dutch international attacking midfielder will now partner/be a replacement for Superman Guti. Any of which, is a prospect to look forward to.

He costs 27million euros.

He will be deemed, a prudent investment.

Good luck, Wesley.

Hala Madrid.

Die Hard 4.0

Officer John McClane is back. This time, better then ever.

Bruce Willis is your everyday man. He could be your neighbour, your teacher, or even your friendly neighbourhood grocer. But its when he becomes officer John McClane, where things start to get interesting. A senior detective for the NYPD/overprotective father of a beautiful daughter, he was instructed to bring in a hacker and ends up saving the world.

Die Hard 4.0 has all the elements of a blockbuster. Car chase car, plane chase car, helicopter chase car, fire hydrant brings down guy on helicopter, car brings down helicopter, and Maggie Q. All this, and all John suffered was two gun shots, one of which, was self inflicted. Nail biting stuff.

A must watch.

Reinforcements.

Now check this out..

Real Madrid, The Greatest Club in the world has done it again. Always scouring the globe searching for new, young talents. This time, reinforcement came in the form of Roysten Drenthe. The Dutch winger was one of the outstanding players on show at the European Under-21 Championship in the Netherlands in June, and has just signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid. Talk about smart.

Looks like the La-Liga is staying in the Bernabeu.

Will the Champions League follow?

Good luck, Roysten.

Next up; Samir Nasri.

Those of you expecting soppy love stories will be dissapointed. However, if you are compelled to know more about me, I should be working at TGIF's in South Yarra. If you do drop by, please tip well.

So much for the introduction. More to follow.
